Congratulations to bravado who have taken first prize at this month's Weekend Cup. Runner-up, miNt.DotA put in a commendable performance in the finals, but unfortunately lost momentum in the third and final showdown!
Of noteworthy mention, DuC topped off the "second chance" competition beating Critical Control in the finals. Well done to all the teams who competed in the lower competition and I hope you gained some valuable experience for the upcoming competitions.
Even with Valentine's Day this weekend, nearly all the matches were played (including the matches in the second chance competition) and this is really something that the DotA community should be quite proud of. There are clear signs of professionalism and a growing depth of experience within the community. We hope to be able to reward you with some exciting prizes in the next few weeks.
The March edition of the Weekend Cup will kick off over the second weekend of the month and registrations are now open. Register Now as spots are again limited to 16 and places will be snapped up quickly!
Thank-you to everyone for another enjoyable tournament!
There will again be more than 16 teams who want to enter, but less than 32 teams. Why not make a 1st and Premier division? (similar to the DoGaming leagues) The Premier division can be 8 teams and 1st Division can be 16 Teams. Then as the teams grow, both Divisions can become 16 teams each.
