Use of this website (“the Site”) is subject to the legal conditions set out below. By entering the Site you agree to these conditions.

AGASA, is owned and operated by Inside Half Productions, with its principle place of business at 11 Koester Avenue, Rooihuiskraal.

2.1                          The Site is designed to provide information about AGASA and its work, as well as links to websites operated by organisations performing similar work. Whilst every reasonable effort is made to ensure that the information contained on the Site is accurate and up to date, it should not be assumed that this will invariably be the case. Where necessary or appropriate, users should obtain independent verification of any information contained on the Site.

 

2.2                          News articles or opinions published on the Site reflect the views of the author. AGASA does not necessarily associate itself with any of the views or opinions expressed by the authors of any news articles or opinions published on the Site.

 

2.3                          AGASA reserves the right to change any of the content of the Site at any time in its sole discretion.

3.1                          The Site is owned and operated by Inside Half Productions which has copyright in respect of all material contained in the Site, unless otherwise stated. No content may be altered, distributed, transferred, added to, or in any other way interfered with, excepted as otherwise expressly indicated on the Site or with the prior written consent of AGASA. In the event that AGASA gives its permission for reproduction of any copyright material contained in the Site, AGASA or copyright holder, as the case may be, must be credited as the copyright holder in a prominent place and in legible letters.

 

3.2                          If copyrighted material is to be reproduced on another website, then the first occurrence of the words “AGASA” must be hyperlinked to the Site at your own cost.

 

3.3                          Comments and suggestions about the Site are welcome. By making such suggestions or comments, you release all intellectual property rights in such comments or suggestions to AGASA at no charge.

 

3.4                          Publish suitable articles submitted to us on the Site. Authors are required to identify themselves and give a brief curriculum vitae. We reserve the right to edit articles or quote extracts from them, allow the articles or extracts to be reproduced on other websites and in other places, in our discretion, provided that the author will always be credited.

The Site provides links to various other Internet sites. AGASA has no control over the content of those websites, nor does AGASA review that content. AGASA therefore cannot be held responsible for the content or the accuracy of those websites. Your access to websites not owed and operated by AGASA is at your own risk. These websites may contain sexually explicit, violent, racist or other types of material which may be offensive to you. Please therefore access other websites at your own discretion.

7.      Competitions

 

7.1                          All competitions run by AGASA on the Site are subject to the following conditions:

 

7.1.1                    The closing date and time of the competition will be specified. No entries received after the closing date and time will be considered.

 

7.1.2                    The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

7.1.3                    Competitions shall generally be open to all users of the Site, unless specified, except that employees of AGASA, their families and advertising agents and representatives may not enter.

 

7.1.4                    Prizes may not be exchanged for cash.

 

7.1.5                    Any additional conditions applicable to particular competitions will be specified.

 

8.      General

 

8.1                          Any dispute arising between AGASA and a third party arising from the use of or reliance on the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the law and the courts of the Republic of South Africa.

 

8.2                          AGASA reserves the right to change these conditions at any time without prior notice.

 

8.3                          The head notes to the clauses of these conditions are for reference purposes only and shall in no way govern or affect the interpretation of, nor modify or amplify the terms of these conditions.
